Project Director for Marine Biology Internships (2026)

An exciting new project: teaching marine biology

Back in Corsica, I began developing new programs for the Plongée Castille dive center: offering marine biology courses focused on the ecology of marine species. To bring this project to fruition, I started creating new teaching materials and organizing meetings with various stakeholders :

- With dive instructors to better understand their needs when it comes to explaining marine biology to divers

- With Thalio.app to add the Corsica region and propose a new partnership between my dive center and this awesome app. We’ve had extensive discussions with Sergi to join forces on this project.

- With STARESO to create an encyclopedic database of the various species found along the coast of Corsica. We combined photo identification and species distribution with Emma Figuls.

This project allows me to put my skills into practice with a wide audience and to build connections between people and marine ecosystems. By learning about the daily lives of marine species, participants gain a better understanding of the threats facing the oceans.
